Not very CPU bound then lol

Not a game I will be playing. But I have read the long and bigger the game becomes the more CPU demanding it gets. I remember this when I was younger and used to play RollerCoster Tycoon the bigger your park the more demanding it became to run.

So my point is, is this benchmark tool a true representation of the performance one can expect.

Will get my first results in shortly after 6pm UK time when it launches in Aus :)

Edit: Unpacking now. Should have downloaded to SSD because this is taking ages!!!

That was going to be my first question too when I saw them discussing this on the AT forums.

On the one hand you'd think the developers would know this and base their benchmark on this, but on the other hand it is possible that using the built-in benchmark will be about as useful as testing a new graphic card with aggressive temperature based boost using a built-in 30 seconds benchmark in a on open air rig. That is, not very useful at all. For graphic card reviews I have almost given up on any of the English language review sites because of this.

Whelp, won't be playing this one yet!

It doesn't allow any resolution greater than 1280x1024 in fullscreen. Possibly because 144hz rog swift.

Can play windowed...

I switched to my other monitor, and the game runs full screen (2560x1600@60hz).

However, I can't find the benchmark in the menus.

Think the game needs patching!!!

Thanks Matt!

Everything maxxed including 8x MSAA I got ~155fps, but the benchmark doesn't give you a post-bench summary, so you just have to watch it and grab a middling number....
