Big Screen Beyond 2

I'd prefer those to the Index controllers really. The Index grip mechanic is awful, so few games get it right, and you end up grabbing things randomly. The finger sensing isn't really used by anything. Plus you need Grip boosters to make the Index controllers comfy.

i cant really see light houses going away. to many headsets still need them. what i could see if valve porting the patent to another company and takinga % of cost like 10% per order or something.
easy passive money maker an of load the risk to some one else.

I'm not a fan of Index controllers either, never got along with the grip method, and the controllers themselves seem fragile, lots of reports of RMA's, there's usually several faulty one's on Ebay for sale, I actually bought some from Ebay years ago and 1 was faulty which the seller never told me

I think if my Aero goes bust, then this is the next model for me.
I'm a little worried about the reduced overlap, as I believe this is what gives the stereoscopic distance

will do, probably a livestream on the Friday evening

hopefully it comes early April
I'm really wanting to upgrade to one of these new oled display's. Thinking the best bits from both would have been perfect. The MeganeX does look very good. I would like a little bit more FOV though. VR is getting seriously impressive though.
Look forward to Glens mini review from a real Sim racer

I might get one later on in the year, but only after Norm from Tested has reviewed it, and only if there's no Deckard on the horizon. Would suck to get this only for Valve to release something massively better, apart from of course the small form factor.
i think this is what you were looking for :

If the BSB2 was sprinkled with IR leds, would steam VR be able to track it if Rift CV1 sensors were set up and the Oculus software was also running?

i'm so tempted to buy this even though it's a lower res than my Aero! those OLED colours and constrast are amazing even in the PSVR2 on PC but i'm still waiting for a Deckard announcment!

This is looking more and more tempting, especially given the unappealing Deckard leaks, plus I have the base stations and controllers and have been waiting to see if a headset comes out that uses them that's worth getting and not utterly unaffordable.

That Tested video is just a first impressions and a really amazing Q&A. Can't wait to see the full review.

I’ve always liked Norm from tested I bought my first VR headset due to his info looking forward to his review!

I’m in the same boat with the deckard! I don’t want stand alone my quest 3 does that job fine so if it doesn’t link to the pc via display port I have no interest in it.

I think the beyond 2 will be my next headset as I want more fov rather than higher res with the Meganex 8k

Norm's VR reviews are the most balanced and informative I find. I don't think I want much higher res than the Beyond simply because I hate reprojection. If I get one I'll get the eye tracking version in the hope that foveated rendering becomes more commonplace.
