I've had some trouble with the HR strap not pairing with my Forerunner 310XT in the past week. Even after changing the battery last night, the FR still wouldn't see it.
I've just rung Garmin for some help and after checking I'd tried a new battery, the guy on the phone said he would send me a new strap out.
No need to prove when I purchased it or any questions about a warranty period, which is very good as I reckon it's just over a year old.
