Big windows in Apple Shops

Working in glass manufacture I came in here to boast about how much I could tell you about their shop front glazing, only to be disappoint.

Two sides....

1) Customer wants a product, if you don't have it in stock stop trying to make sales by offering them other products they just don't want!!

2) Business only trying to make money so they have to offer an alternative.

anyway, apple gear is v overpriced for what it is, but it does tend to look nice, the dock and adapter alternative would have looked awful, and thus not be a suitable 'apple' solution, they seem to be very far behind on accessories for their own gear now, surprisingly badly timed launches

One of the doors shattered at the store I worked at because the motors were broken and we'd shut the doors manually every day. It just blew up in the middle of the day.
 
I"m pretty sure Apple said at the iPhone 5 launch they were not planning on doing a dock for it.

There's usually plenty of third party docks after a short while.
