Bike Jacket recommendations

They do cover all tastes. :D
Real friendly place if you are close enough to get to them.

Looks alright but I would Always try a bike jacket on before I bought it as they have to be such a perfect fit, I think I tried on around 10 at JTS before I found one that fitted perfect & looked how I wanted it to look.

I wouldn't be spending £52 on a leather jacket.

How good do you think it will be? As soon as you hit the deck in that it will come to pieces and you'll be sliding along in your t-shirt before you know it.

Was it you who bought the comedy helmet? It's like you actively want to die if you ever fall off your bike!

Buy decent kit! It will save your life!

Edit: That wasn't you who bought the silly hat, so I take it back, I apologise. I stand by what I said though, a decent bike jacket is well worth the money. Take a trip to a shop where you can try them on - we're all different shapes and one jacket won't fit everyone. It's even more important with leather than textiles, so find a decent local shop and try on everything you can afford and buy your favourite :)

Please don't buy a £50 jacket from eBay

Still - £50 is not enough for a decent bike jacket - the stitching and construction is so important and could be the difference between walking away from an accident, or not. I'd really look at spending more, or if you want to keep costs down go for a decent budget textile jacket :)

I see what your saying but they do seem to fit into the safety bracket

"GearX biker jackets & suits made with A GRADE high quality cow hide leather 1.3mm & safety standerd for bikers on road or on track."

Its not just about what they are made of , its how well they fit and hold together in the event of an off.

Heard of and seen a few of the less well known makes disintegrate on contact or have the 'armour' shift about causing injury.

For that reason I will only use recognised brands i.e. Dainese , Alpinestars etc and have not had a major problem on my 'excursions' during track days ;):D
