Bike licence and 33bhp bikes

With something like a Bandit you only really lose the top end so even at 33bhp it'll still destroy pretty much any car up to ~110mph

I rode a restricted Bandit 6 once, it was horrendous... Bandit 6s are heavy and top-endy, restrict them and they're just heavy.

Thought I would use this thread instead of starting a new one..........

I want to do the DAS either this summer or next, just waiting on saving a bit to get started including the course, bike, kit etc. I heard that they are going to be doing away with the DAS fairly soon though?? Any truth to this and should I get the test done asap before it goes?

33bhp is usually enough for around 110mph indicated on the speedo, around 100mph if it doesn't have a fairing.

My Fazer 600 (nose cone fairing only) could get ~93mph on 33bhp.

I dont think they are dropping DAS but the test itself is changing in October and it will be harder and more expensive, so probably best to get it done this summer
