Has anybody else been spurred on by the prospect of the 2012 bike meet to finally get those mods and work to the bike done you've always meant to?

  • Tidy up the join between downpipe and the slip-on exhaust
  • Fit the dark screen I've had for almost a year now
  • Do the yearly oil service

To do...

  • Suspension setup (professionaly)
  • Consider chucking on carbon fibre underbelly
  • Consider quickshifter

That's it for to do... Bike came with all the upgrades/mods I would have got round to doing anyway! Saving me money and time lol.

Done since I got the bike...

  • Properly adjust non OEM rear sets for my lankey arse
  • Fuel mapping

So yea, not a lot really lol, like I said, bike came with everything I could have wanted really, tons of carbon fibre, loads of extras such as rear sets... Kind of wish it was standard though, like upgrading :(

EDIT: really trying to think of things to do and there is nothing major! Ummm, I need to get a bolt for my carbon fibre exhaust guard, it vibrated it's self loose last time, so I guess going round all bolts would be a good idea... Umm, the rear axel nuts have sort of retaining clips that need replacing. The clutch has a slight wobble, again this is a niggle, nothing serious but no harm in taking the clutch assembly out (plates and basket), giving it all a clean and putting it all back in. Hours job tops.

Now the Stunt bike

1. lay new wiring loom (after last person thought it be good to try it him self)
2. Get on the dyno
3. Better head light.

Then the drag bike

1. Longer swing arm
2. strip engine
3 oil change and coolant change
5. Re-spray

Aggghhh the list keep's getting longer

Done pretty much all my planned jobs over the winter (Ohlins rear shock, upgraded front fork internals, upgraded ohlins shock spring, got all the setup by Maxton, Brembo 19x20 master cylinder, smaller front sprocket, full service done myself, clear rear light with LED upgrades, flush LED indicator, LED flasher module, Vortex clip on's, renthal race grips, EBC HH pads all round)

Only other defo job I need to do is buy and fit a speedo healer after changing the gearing. Been looking at maybe fitting a nice undertray as well as the standard one is huge. Maybe a nice set of rearsets as well.

All I have to do is clean & polish but when I say All I really mean Untold hours cleaning off the coatings of FS365 I've built up over Winter & then polishing more chrome than I want to think about right now.

I doubt you will able to hear mine then over your thunder :D

As I read that, I said in my mind in the voice of Jack Black "Bring the thundaaaaa"...

I have a terrible habbit of blipping the throttle as I downshift as I like to brake hard. Anyway, it makes the most amazing noise when I do this, I might have to invest in a man tampon to catch the mess from every single crysis I have :(

I might give mine a wash. Maybe.

Isn't this how you're meant to, like, ride a bike? Do people really shift down and then bang the clutch open and hope nothing bad happens?

Yep lol, I hate the idea of just dumping the clutch without blipping the throttle.

Anyways, it's a good question really... Hmm, I feel a thread starting!

Yes lol, worryingly you can hear it on a few peoples TD videos, surprised they dont lock the rear end up more often, specially on the twins and triples.

I can't wait to get the ohlins setup properly though :D

Where are thinking of going to get it set up correctly out of interest? I would like my suspension set up for me to ensure it is correct for my height/weight etc. I'm not really up to speed on any suspension places around here.

oil and filter service
fit new clutch cylinder
give it a dam good clean and polish
go 1 tooth down at the front (already 2 up at rear )
