So I'm not riding my bike today for God knows what reasons but still I wanna talk look read watch bikes so I thought it was time to start to arrange V2 Bike meet to Aberystwyth via the A44. :D

I shall be attending on my ZX7R :D

S'pose first we need to find out the best date/weekend for us all. I'm thinking a ride down one day with a night in a B&B & a ride back the next day. :cool:

So initial thoughts ?
As for a date seeings it's May now I'll say some time in June ???

I just looked and it says Olympic Games 27 July - 12 August I am confuse. :confused:

Meets some time in June Dude. :D

Unless he is building the Olympics. :eek: + :p
 
Well it's my Welsh neighbour that mentioned the A44, I think we should All meet at the start of the A44.
We can each arrange our local meets & then a big meet for the start of the A44 for the run in.
It's all chat at the mo so any suggestions are welcome. :)
 
According to my Welsh neighbour it's Awesome, Check it out on Google maps I have it looks great. :)
 
Ok I'll throw 2 dates out there & see where we are.

Saturday 23rd - Sunday 24th June.

Or..

Saturday 30th - Sunday 1st of July.

@stuman - All are Welcome, I've only had my full license for 2 days. :p
 
Also Don't forget to say Where you are coming from so the Local meets can be arranged as well.
We'll say meet at the A44 for say 2pm to give everybody loads of time then we can enjoy the A44 together & arrive in Aberystwyth around the same time. :cool:

Not thought about that but we can all bring a big chain then chain them all together & to something.
We can also call ahead to the B&B's & ask who has secure parking.
 
Bumping this to front page for the Dudes with new bikes & those that didn't catch it the first time round.

On a plus the weather is s'posed to be getting better mid week, Lets hope Summer is on it's way. :)
 
Think you're probably right mate. We could always change the destination to a Southern one & use this one later in Summer when we have a better chance of fine weather.

It was said earlier in the thread that we would travel down one day do an overnight in a B&B & come back the following day.

So - 23rd run out, Over night @ B&B & home run on the 24th.
 
Don't worry Dude Meets should be regular if the last one is anything to go by. :)
 
I just Thank **** I don't live in London any more & have absolutely no reason to go there either. Does my head in when nowts on just a normal day let alone when it's invaded.

It's up to those who live in the same area to arrange a local meet & ride together up to the starting point which will be start of the A44 or somewhere near. :) (revised below)


Just had a quick look at the map, How about Worcester as a meeting point for the run in ?

Also anybody around Worcester know a services we can meet ?

Junction 7 off the M5 ? Turning onto the Whittingham road & then left onto the A4440 down to the A44 then on to Aberystwyth ? Looks a good run in that. :cool:

Just need a place to meet. :)
