+1,

Thanks for the support btw, I called the guys who I did my CBT with. I can't prebook it yet, I'll have to call on Monday as that's when they'll know the dates.

CB650F is the bike, but if someone is doing DAS on that day. I'll have to ride a CB500... :(

Although there's an obvious power difference, the 500 is still very capable, I doubt a first time rider would notice much of a difference between the 650 and 500 just when training, they are the same size and roughly the same weight, shouldn't be a problem. :)

I guess anything will be better than the 125 :p, I asked if they do training on Sunday's. He said "yes, but do you want to spend your birthday doing training?" You can guess what my reply to this was haha :D Who wouldn't want to spend their birthday on a bike?

When I was going through my DAS I had to do a conversion day which was a hour or so on a Suzuki GS500 and basically just did the CBT layout on that. Then the rest of the day was on a Honda CBF600

Power wise there wasn't anything in it, the CBF just physically felt larger.

Congrats, btw

My "nearest" near miss happened today:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUKtpbhSFIk

Coming up to the junction there was another L plates bike in front. The guy seemed a bit nervous, and still had his indicator on. I let him go first, then the woman in the left lane appears to decide to take the right turn (across a lane), indicates at the last minute and starts turning across without looking.

When I glanced at her, she was looking at her passenger and chatting during this maneuver.

Might be a stupid question, but you have sat with them on, on your bike haven't you? :p The legs will rise up as your legs will be bent and your back bent, so they'll be ill fitting off the bike but when on the bike they'll fit better.

Yep the sliders still sit down my shin along with the armour which doesn't even get to my knee, I obviously have extra short thighs.

Yeah, I don't see the point in that acting, everyone watches it to widen their knowledge... not for entertainment. Although, a track day with an instructor who observes you is still better as he will pick up your errors instantly unlike you. :p

 is that actual Ghost Rider that got caught at last, or a copycat? Always used to watch his films, got all 6 on my PC here :D

not sure tbh,i saw one n cant find it on youtube, he was on a black gsxr1000,police chasing him

the last one he did was called ghostrider 666

Downpipes and link pipe are in. Just waiting for the clutch springs.

Going to rub down these 2nd hand downpipes and treat them before going on the bike. She maybe old but I'm getting to like the old girl. I wasnt going to keep her for long but now I'm making plans
