I've definitely become an ear plug convert for motorway or longer rides now I've given them a proper go.

I can't do long journeys without them.

I can manage 10 miles max and then my ears ring, with my older cheap helmet I couldn’t do more than a few miles.

This. 30-40mph max, or on the Alps trip I went a couple of days not wearing them (only did an hour of motorway though) as my ear was hurting, putting back in for the slog across france on the autoroute was bliss!!

Even forgeting how nice it is in a quiet helmet, my hearing is too valuable.

Mine just came in a pouch which I'd almost certainly drop out of my pocket at some point when I'm trying to get my keys and work pass in and out with gloves on. At least this way I know they're always there.

Any recommendations for decent bike insurance companies that don't appear on these comparison sites?

I've just had my car renewal through from Direct Line and it's over £100 less than anything that appears on comparison sites - there must be similar bike insurers?

Prefer the regular SV with the cafe racer seat. Basically the same minus the gash front end

I think the MT07 has the edge over the SV in the looks, it looks too much like a gladius...

No chance. The MT07 looks ok but the new SV is more refined than the gladius

It still looks outdated, MT07 is a nice refreshment in that department. Kawasaki always looked meh...
