Got another ride done today. Used the excuse of collecting the Dr Downpipe from Halfords and had a couple of odd experiences lol.

First one is where I believe an unmarked BMW 1 series paced me on A556 for about 2-3 miles. Not sure what made them do so. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary, was within speed limit, doing my usual checks etc. Nor did I accelerate like a rocket. I could clock them as cops as the car was Black, they kept same pace and didn't overtake even at points where I was on 55 in 60. I switched lanes as I was going to Northwich and they did the same (whilst indicating, whoa very odd for a BMW lol). Then they sort of realized why I was on the right lane and moved back going back to routine.

Second was around my riding school. I went there to see my Instructors for catch up as it had been a while. Saw two dudes on an old Gixxer 750 looking at the school and bikes parked around from the street above. They were in hoodies and jeans. They went back and forth once and didn't come back since they saw me see them.

On another instance saw a guy on Duke 790/890 wearing the same helmet as me. I find this interesting and little funny. Just waved with the usual motorcycle camaraderie we share and moved on. On an even lighter note, overtook an L plate moped on the A roads and accelerated rather briskly on the overtake. Waved the rider, hopefully igniting more ambition to get the DAS for them. Or... they may have thought I was an obnoxious person .

Enjoyed the ride. Hoping to put more miles and learn more about the Blackbird...

Last time it happened to me they awarded me 6 points for being such a legendary rider :o :D
I got lucky :D I shot off down the middle on a dual carriageway because cars were just sat next to each other not overtaking and doing 50, turns out the car behind the one not moving was an unmarked.... They said luckily for me they didn't catch my speed so couldn't actually do me for speeding :D

But what was the conversation like? Were they very professional or were they very angry about what you did?
