I nearly got hit by a white VW van today, had my indicator on as I was getting of the roundabout right before the exit he was so close that I could probably kick his bumper with my leg. He had to brake hard, I hate van drivers... ****** ******, they either nearly hit you or they block you whilst filtering...:mad::mad::mad:

This was nice this morning... this bit's always a dodgy though as if you're coming out from the right (like the pickup truck thing was), you can't see unless you try, so people often don't bother and go anyway... saw him from all the way up the road not looking

I swear the Superduke R was closer to £12K when it was released, have they increased the price?
BMW increased the price of the R9T :( which is what i want. I'd love a Superduke R as well, but that's silly money. Though i wouldn't bother with such an expensive exhaust setup.

Yup they really are expensive :( Plus I'm thinking a 4k deposit should do nicely on finance over 3 or 4 years which leaves me to pay about £230 or so a month, maybe a bit more.

So I'd need about 6k lump sum which I just don't have at the moment :(

R9T are nice, saw one some time ago all shiny. The guy who owned only takes it out on weekends I think, his gear was all clean and the bike looked like it only just left the showroom.

I was coming back home and a brick fell off a truck, nearly went over it...

BTW Don't buy Muc Off Endurance chain lube, my whole swingarm and wheel are covered in lube. I lubed the chain later afternoon and left it till the morning, haven't ridden the bike so it had plenty of time to settle/stick on the chain.

I'm going to get 'Wurth - High Performance Dry Chain Lube', hopefully that won't make such a mess.

Anyone tried the Sd0c100 dry chain lube? I'd ideally want a dry lube on my weekend/summer bike, as even the best wet lube still flings a bit over wheels/number plate etc.

I only get small spots of lube, sometimes (depending on if I lubed it while warm, how long ago, how fast I ride, etc.) with Castrol racing lube. It's really sticky stuff.

I heard that the WD40 is messy too? I didn't really get that much lube around my swingarm and rim on my KTM... but that's probably because it didn't do speeds of 100-110. :p You can really feel when you're doing over 95mph it feels like someone is pulling you back. :p

yeah TBH I'm not that bothered on the CB, it's a dirty bitch :p

But when I get my italian summer bike - that will stay clean and shiny, they have a nice silver alloy swingarm.

I'm not bothered either, but the bike hasn't been washed for 5 months so it was time to give it a clean. :p

Edit: I rode a GSX-R 600 K6 today, I don't really like that sporty position. It was a pain to do slow speed manoeuvres around the car park... I've 2 years to think about my next bike, I don't think it'll be a sport bike.
