Also, black and white or white and red?

Black is the 900, white and red is the 900r.

Are new forks generally an expensive fix? I'm tempted by the Nuda 900r on ebay for 5k but it's got 19k miles and a dented fork, is it an MOT fail?

I might be reading this wrong but £120 to rebuild or repair damaged forks?

http://www.brooksuspension.co.uk/husqvarna-nuda-900r-forks-rebuild-and-repair-service.html

Replacing the fork tube uppers or lowers is not cheap if you buy new and that service just looks like they'll give them a service and replace the seals rather than fix any actual damage.

Get the R, you'll only regret it afterwards if you settle for the standard model.

At least that's I'm telling myself when it comes to a Tuono Factory vs the R model :D:p

And £120 will just be new oil/seals/rebuild, not new for outer or inner tubes.

i love all the stuff on the factory.. but that gold frame just spoils it :(

I don't mind the gold frame, but I am starting to think the black colour one makes the frame colour stand out a lot more - as the rest of the bike is black the gold is more 'in your face' if you like, whereas the white colour bike seems a bit more balanced?

Thought it was too good to be true :D there is literally 1 nuda 900r for sale in this country, I may have to go overseas for one!

There's a 1067 mile 900 non-R on autotrader, I must admit that would tempt me!! What exactly do you get on the R? brembo monoblocks, lower gearing, what else?

Do it ;). I became obsessed with the 701, so did what I could to make sure I got one. I still grin every time I ride it.

Moral of the story. If you really want a bike, even if it doesn't seem sensible, do what you can to get it :p :D.

Get the R, you'll regret it later if you get the normal one. I'm off to do a quick test with the windscreen on, I've also done a mod to xiaomi case. Lets see how that performs...

How much did you pay for the 701? I've just found a 2013 with 0 miles for £7k, could be tempted to finance maybe 3k and put the 4k in cash.
