Yes, as per the website it said 97-98.Just to be sure, is that a guard for a carb bike? Not sure if they changed rads between carb and FI but it's a possibility
Maybe.. It was an effort to take pictures and with flash on. I will take better pictures and post again once I get a chance.Does the top one go to the horn mounting?
Bit hard to see on your pics.
Is that itch about a certain machine that would need a Desmo service? That being said, I'm starting to get an itch, and not a good one either. The type of itch that can only be scratched with a 660cc parallel twin![]()
Well I was close with the Italian. Aprilia was my next guess ngl.. Tuonos are very desirable indeed. Not a Ducati

Really? Are they like oil consuming motors or just a pain to work on even by the garage?Crazy servicing costs though, it's the only thing stopping me from getting one.

If that rad guard in the last photo is the correct one, the it only bolts at the bottom, and the other 'tabs' have the R&G slits for cable ties.Could you guys help me spot it please. I might be missing something very obvious here.
Thank you, will have a look.If that rad guard in the last photo is the correct one, the it only bolts at the bottom, and the other 'tabs' have the R&G slits for cable ties.
Is that for the STriple? Not sure if you have more than one bike. Shame that the weather and commitments don't (whatever they are) won't allow for more miles.Bike is definitely going up for sale this year once it's got it's 12 month ticket in April.
Just can't justify having £4k sat in the garden to do 300 miles a year and kids are expensive.
Hopefully will be able to squeeze one last day out on it before the insurance runs out.
It's been a good run over the last 10 years and hopefully I'll pick something cheap up in a year or two just to get my fix.
Yep my striple is my only bike. I went through a similar thing when I sold my bird but in that case it lasted less than 6 months before I figured I could splash out on the triumphIs that for the STriple? If I am in a similar situation (I hope not) I would be gutted. The only solace would be I didn't spend a lot on the purchase.
Same here. Mine will be 3 this year and second one on the way, yikes. I am already getting a ticking from the missus "Whatever riding you have to do has to be before the second baby. You are not going to get any time after that".That was pre child though so unfortunately I think this will be a longer hiatus, probably until she's in school minimum so at least 4 years.
