Bikers Youtube thread

Wish they'd bring out a decent bike game that's fun to control and sounds good! I've always found the MotoGP games (same people that made RIDE) awful to control and the bikes sound bad :(

Was really excited for RIDE for ages, especially as it includes the IOMTT track. Major disappointment as soon as I recognised the launcher and menus.

Why the HELL would you want to make a bike look like that!

I quite like the streetfighter look.

But doing it proper is a £££ venture unless youre very good at fabbing all sorts of parts and even then its still pricey

Just taking the fairings off no that sucks :p

That's where I got all my bike gear from lol, I ordered from motoin.de. But after 3 weeks of no info, I cancelled the order and went there, the prices are high though... :(

Nice as that is, a Ducati with anything but a termi is just.... wrong :D

Oh and that's a 696. You could ride one on an A2 licence ;)

That's what I think too, but that SC Project does sound nice. :D

I'm not sure I could afford to maintain it, I was thinking about it today... How reliable are these really? You can get one for 4k easily.

Depends if you were riding it every day for work. I'd happily have a later watercooled Ducati as a summer commuter, and a older air cooled model as a weekend only bike. Not sure I'd want one as an only bike or something I had to rely on to get me to work though. The engines are fine though and they have less electronics to go wrong than the newer bikes.

All depends if you'd be riding it through winter, in all weathers. I do love the Monster 1100 EVO, I pass one quite often in the summer on the way home from work, great sound.

Valve checks are every 7500 miles on the old 2 valve aircooled motors too so doing lots of miles could get expensive.

I can only afford 1 bike atm, I still have around 2 years of studies left. I'm only working 2 days a week, sometimes doing OT's on fridays. At the minute the only bikes on my list are SV650 and MT07, nothing else out there that got my interest. I'm not too keen on the idea of a ducati, I heard so many horror stories...

BTW I can get the Monster 796 too, 89bhp so within the 95.2bhp limit. :p I would probably be scared to leave it unattended anywhere for too long. I do prefer a naked bike though, its hard to find a naked SV though. I wonder why?

There's quite a few naked SV's out there, not as many as the half faired version though.

What about an Aprilia Shiver? Aprilia are the Honda of italian motorbikes. Remember I was looking at one for my first bike, I still like them. There's not many around though, and don't buy one new as they plummet in value, but they're dirt cheap used.

Or a Dorsoduro? it's exactly the same engine in both bikes. These are awesome looking bikes, and RJ rode one before the Nuda ;)

Guinness book or records surely? I can't even think of a road where you could drive for 20kms and see less than 10 cars lol.
