I've got the silica gel pouches, but they're too big to fit in the case, I'll buy some proper pads.

Realistically, probably end of September unless I buy one from a dealer and stick a bit on a credit card. And then if it's end of September I'll only have a month or so's riding left on it, so I'd probably wait and pick up a bargain over winter.

That's if I get a factory, which I really want You can pick up an early ('06 or '07) non-factory model for as little as £4k, about £1500-2000 less than a later model ('09) Factory version. But the Ohlins, carbon, forged wheels etc are easily worth £1500 extra, the wheels alone are around £6-700 a pair to buy used.
