Bikers Youtube thread

just wish it had ABS!

I can see it being great on the road in an emergency situation, but I've never really thought 'damn i needed ABS there'. Have you? Mind you, you're usually only thinking that when you're sat on the ground picking stones out of your skin.

Never thought I've needed it, as not having it makes you "think" and try harder to get it right!

however I can see how good it could be in the wet etc..

Most if not all bikes nowadays seem to be ABS bikes!

Ooops that seemed to let go a bit easy! Glad you are ok though, whats the damage on the bike?

How many laps in was that? and what tyres?

Let go very easily. I've cut 13 mins off the start of the vid, not sure how many laps but plenty to warm to tyres enough.
Tyres are Bridgestone BT016 rear and BT023 front.

Bike looks worse than it is but still going to take some fixing up, side panel has taken the worst of it but its still broken the light mounts, clutch master cylinder, pegs etc...

Well the main thing is you will live to do another track day, Everytime i see a slide like that it makes me think i should put some crash bobbins on but never do.

Did Cadwell on Monday and on the last session on the last corner and the last lap a chap on a nice GSX 1000 lost it poor bloke, bike took a scrapping there as well.

I know many of you will disagree with some of these stunts being performed on public roads and what not, but there are some awesome stunts pulled in these videos by the Imortal Stunt team, plus I find the music awesome in them :D.

Very irresponsible riding I know, but every time I watch them, I want to go out for a blast on the bike lol.

Forgot to actually add the best video lol, the stunts the guy performs here are amazing :D

Only just been looking through this thread and thought I would start at the beginning.

I used to watch these videos and would you belive my shock when I turn up for my motorcycle lessons and my teacher is the owner of immortal lol.

Really nice guy and managed to get me from never having been in a motorcycle to having a full licence in 5 days.

To be fair you had an awful lot of lean on when you started to apply the throttle.

That's an annoying amount of damage, but obviously repairable and at least you didn't damage yourself.

Holy ****.

So, yes those bikers are complete idiots... but this guy must have hit rage factor 10,000,000.

Was there really a guy riding in a t-shirt with a back protector?

Honestly they deserved to be run over, people see videos like that and assume all bikers are idiots like them. Frankly if I was in a car and surrounded by that many people I'd want to leg it before I got killed by the ones walking over to my window, I'm assuming something happened before this recording we didn't see or was it all over that bump because the idiot slowed down in front of him?

None of the bikers died despite what's being said, police confirmed only guy hurt was the guy in the car.

It started by the first white bike brake testing the car and the car tapped him as he could not stop in time by looks of it. Then the rest of them started abusing the driver and surrounded him.

To be honest I would have done the same as the car tbh. Wife + kid in the car... and 100 odd ppl wanting to hurt you...

Idiots. The only people who will lose out from this are people like us, as we will all get branded with this. I can see the Daily Fail headline already.

Buncha tools, you don't brake test a 2 ton Range Rover, it's a helluva quick way to get yourself killed.

They got off lightly, if it had been me behind the wheel & they where threatening my family, i wouldve spilt blood with out a seconds thought.
