I always thought his sound was great until one day he switched from his dedicated recorder to his cameras sound while he was chatting to someone. His bike sounded pretty average.

Same - until I saw him in London and the bike was nowhere near as loud as the videos make out

Nowhere did it say Wide Load, which they usually do yes. I would care less if it wasn't a piece of farm equipment sticking out the side! haha!

The quality might be decent but he messes with the setup and levels to make the bikes sound totally different to real life.

Precisely. The sound recorded is not at all representative of the bike.

That could have been nasty if you weren't paying attention, just at head height too

RJ? his sound quality is bang on.

He sets the gain very high on the zoom h2n so it clips the sound. I can make my street triple sound like a monster if I do the same with my zoom

A little vid from this morning. Sometimes i don't bother filtering due to risk and/or it being a pain.
The traffic lights have a bike box, which usually has either a car or a bike in it. Though not meant to use it as a motorcyclist anyway. Not only that, lorries like to cut the corner and i've been close to losing my foot before . You also have a box junction with cyclists and impatient drivers, which is just a free-for-all.

Some mornings i just hang back, but more often than not car drivers are oblivious on a Monday morning..

I usually do, but don't see the harm in going around traffic islands if you can see it's safe too.

Same. Generally the UK pretty much sucks for biking. The weather is bad, the roads are dirty, small and relatively boring.
I bike because it's more fun than a car though!

Poland around 5 years ago started refreshing the roads in german style, so bends like that aren't anything new. Around a month or 2 ago I did around 3000km's in a car and on some roads I wished I was on a bike.

Although, in winter you can forget about riding as the temperature and snow won't allow you to. When it rains, its usually heavy and even in a car with the wipers set to max you can barley see anything. But it rains for a day or two and than its sunny again for like a week.

I've found some nice roads around Milton Keynes, but saw more police on that route than I did in a week around the country roads around my area.
