Bikers Youtube thread

I knew what you meant, hence the :p

TBH you don't even need to go as far as the Alps to get brilliant, deserted roads - couple of hours from Calais into Belgium and you're set.

So, first commute on the Tuono, a little section.

Barely 1/4 throttle turn, see at 5:55 in the 2nd video - that's the same road with a near identical overtake on the CB400, look how effortless the Tuono makes it :p :D

Also, dat engine braking :D no need to brake for a 40 zone!

Ahah it's great to have such torque - you do get used to it though!

I have crazy amounts of engine breaking on my single, and worry that I perhaps overuse / abuse it. This morning I locked up the back three times riding a bit too aggressively on the way to work...:D It's lots of fun though!

Slipper clutch on the Tuono, so much less chance of that happening! Although the engine braking has caught me out a bit, in 1st I have to clutch in a roll along to slow down.

Pet wasp? You've lost me! :p

From today's practise on my 3rd attempt at doing a stoppie, I didn't want to post it as I know you guys will give me a lecture. But, oh well...

Edit
Now Kreeee, post your fail. :p

I'd be putting some leathers on to do that, even a 15mph off can hurt - but it's actually good that you're learning this stuff in a safe(ish) environment, it's good for bike control.

You're doing it on private land, and tbh, I think it helps to know the limits of what you're riding. I might go do some practice on the weekend now :D
