Bikers Youtube thread

Is that even legal?

I love that new POV, looks so much better than camera being mounted on the helmet.

who's him? terrible rider imo
What makes you say that?

I prefer to watch RJ over some other motovloggers, as he doesn't talk as much. Some just talk way to much during the ride, just enjoy it FFS and STFU. :p

...and yeah camera view is the best bit
Going back to the conversation in my thread about helmets, this should be safer as long as you have chest armour. I wouldn't fancy having a gopro stuck in my chest/rib hahaha. :p

RJ videos are all right but once you have seen filtering through London a few times it can be a bit dull.

Other than the Barron who doesn't upload that much any more I like to watch Suburban Delinquent, he always goes to interesting places and has a lot of fun.

Don't hate me for the 480p :p This was just a try out to see if the audio from an old compact camera (although it's one that cost £250 in 2009) would give any usable audio at all.... and it does!!

So, I present to you, the little 400 that could :D

Sounds alright that does  You can hear more when the bike is upwind (behind in this case) of the camera.

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a nice, quiet bit of road next to a corner with somewhere to hide a small camera on a gorillapod!

Already subscribing him. :D

I had to check as I have crap memory for channel names.

Now that was amazing!

Really good to see something that isn't by Redbull but damn they cut it right as he was outrunning the wave at the end!!!

Would love to see the making of that video and some more wave riding.

I read somewhere yesterday that the wave wiped him out and they lost the bike for like 90 minutes underwater until the buoyancy device inflated, bringing it back to the surface!

Yeah I think I saw Guy Martin did something similar on a lake in the UK but it didn't work anywhere near as well as this, he also had some engine problems when it drank water!

I hope they release a full feature making of so we can see all the details.

Crazy filtering, like he's tired of living

You talking about RJ? He's been riding for 20+ years according to the FAQ's he's done. He rides a lot of enduro so has very decent bike control. He doesn't do 120mph knee down round bends, just a bit of agressive London filtering and some ped scaring, along with the occasional Euro trip/Enduro trip.

He's had crashes, as explained in this video, but they've made him a better biker.

And on the subject of filtering - I don't think his filtering is dangerous, but we all have different views. Some even think ALL filtering is dangerous :D
