Bikers Youtube thread

is it just me or does anyone else not keen on him ^^ he needs some riding lessons and some anger management imo

So if I was walking down the road without a zebra crossing with my head tilted down looking at the ground daydreaming or using my smartphone. You were riding on that road, would you just stop and wait for me to pass by without doing anything?

I don't always use zebra crossing, but I look and give myself a lot of time to cross the road. On that video those people clearly don't care about their own safety or are just plain dumb... Same with those children, a parent especially in London should keep their children nearby him/her.

no need for that though just get on with it,he'll meet a right nasty person soon who'll give him a wallop

we all get that everyday, why make a song n dance about it,they take no notice of you anyway:(

I just get angry at pedestrians like those in that video, especially when those ignorants risk their childrens life... it makes me sick.

I like him, his videos are good, perhaps he could be a little less aggressive with his filtering.

He has said that it's down to a lifetime of riding in London and does explain what he does and how he does it in one of the vids.

Me too! Even with a loud exhaust people still don't realise they are in my way - And when I rev the bike...I get a funny look....GET OUT OF THE ******* WAY

He can be quite agitated at times and his filtering [to me] seems pretty aggressive, but he's always speaking to people, taking the time to acknowledge people taking photos of him/his bike - even pulling over to dish out £20 to a chugger... much respect for doing these sorts of things.

Personally, I enjoy watching his videos :)

I agree with you, most of those clips he were just him looking to get angry at someone, if he genuinely was ending up in these situations then he needs to look ahead more.

He's not that aggressive, he just likes to dominate in traffic.

This is what I call aggressive filtering...

Bah, he's basically riding in a straight line!! :p

Now THIS is some ballsy filtering.

To be fair, the way he's stepping the bike out on some of the corners he's obviously a pretty good rider. And that Instanbul traffic!

You can see that he can actually ride though, my heart breaks when I see some perfect bikes for filtering such as a new MT-07 stuck in a traffic and then theres me a newbie on a L-plate 125 flying pass him.

That guy in the corsa... I hate **** ***** like him who block you, I had this today a guy in an audi placed the car sideways so I couldn't overtake him. But 2 weeks ago when I was riding back home people were making me room to pass by which was nice :)

IIRC he's never had an accident on the road; so aggressive, angry or whatever, he's doing something right.

I think he's also seen as quite aggressive as that's what makes an entertaining video. He wouldn't post his average boring daily commute.

Ahh yeah the blockers, normally old gits in brand new range rovers.

I've had people driving dangerously by letting me past over the past few days - normal people seeing a bike behind them on a NSL road, doing under the speed limit, will move over slightly to make some room. 3 times now (once in the car today as a bike was overtaking) cars have veered so aggressively towards the kerb it was like they were dodging an animal on the road! They then drive literally inches from the verge, wing mirror clipping the bushes. And they do this approaching a blind bend, where I'm not going to overtake as I can't see what's coming.

And I'm not talking a narrow road either, this is the road and the corner https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.1892936,0.3723569,3a,77.2y,11.28h,79.72t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sTRbR4vN1nsPfbWrXJQPKag!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en imagine the cars left wheels on/over that white line on the left! There's a junction just round that bend that is blind until you're not far from it, only a fool would overtake there as you get artics thundering along at 50-60mph along there too.

I just sit behind these fools and they realise after a while I'm not going to overtake when they want me to, I'll choose when to overtake when it's safe and proper thankyouverymuch.

Yeah, same here... I'm like "Can't you see the L-Plate? I don't have enough unicrons to overtake you!"

BTW It's not like we even need them to make room for us, its a bike ffs... not a car. A guy once hit a kerb because he was making room for me...

I make space when I'm in my car if I'm sat in slow moving traffic and next to either a lorry / truck or some geezer who's so close to the line he practically wants my lane. Any other time I just "hold my line" so to speak, feel like it makes it easier for the biker to decide when to hoon it past me :p

God do I love gyrocam footage, it just looks so smooth compared to stuff off of a Drift or GoPro

And that's how you should drive, by constantly keeping literally couple mm's near the kerb you're in danger of hitting a kerb or catching a puncture.

You know gyrocam is not actually a cam, right? :p

Gyro Vision® is a single axis gyroscope with Aluminum Frame that uses a Gyro Chip and magnetometer to determine
location relative to earth and automatically adjust for level horizon via electronics and a brushless electric motor.
GyroVision® when attached to a Sport Action Camera such as GOPRO can provide realistic video recording of rider by
keeping horizon level similar to recent Moto GP race footage. Gyro Vision® is NOT a camera stabilization system.
