Bikers Youtube thread

I suspect that if that had have ended in an accident you would still somehow be at fault, despite the fact the car has cut across in front of you. There's a small roundabout on my way home from work that is like that, but much smaller. Two lanes, left goes left and straight over, right goes straight over and right.

People are always bombing up the right lane to go straight over despite the fact the roundabout doesn't really support it.

It's always someone in a BMW, Audi etc. that comes flying up the inside then looks confused as they realise they've got nowhere to go. If you're in the left you have to swing all the way around to avoid anything and most people don't realise that; right pain in the arse of a roundabout

Bloody hell controller

They are so heavy to pick back up,miserable git in the white van was soon off, could have helped you pick it up again

That white van roundabout one...cannot help but think you did not help yourself out there as much as you could have :( Van would have been sighted for some time and that queued line of traffic there is a huge hazard.

Right of way violation on his part but could have been more defensive. Roundabouts and rain are squaky bum at the best of times.

I still don't understand Supermoto bikes. Are they just town bikes? They seem small and easy to maneuver at slow speeds.

Certainly not my cup of tea, but i can see why you would have one in a large town/city.

I doubt she would have been much help tbh, You can see i forget to hold the front on my first attempt at picking it up and was mildly amused when just the back came up :D

Every ride is a learning curve, that day i learnt something, i was 30 seconds from reaching my destination too. Saw the van pulling out and reacted, didn't expect the front to wipe out underneath me.

U wanna go fam? :p:D

You want some, il give it ya :D

I'd love a supermoto and be able to ride one well, But i just cant help but feel you'd go through the soles of your boots quicker than your tyres

They are a scrambler that you can't go off roading with

Nearest I rode to one was a ccm r30 and it gave me a blinding headache after 10 minutes due to the mega loud can on it,would wheelie easy though

Something like a Dorsoduro 1200 would be a good alternative. I'd love one of these, alongside a track bike, and a commuter, and a multistrada (or 1290 superduke GT), and a ducati sport classic, oh and a streetfighter 1198 S, and a... :p :D
