Bikers Youtube thread

Same, would love a Supermoto or the Nuda 900R. Supermotos have silly service intervals though & the Nuda isn't available over here :(

What about the DRZ 400 SM? I swear that's one of the most reliable SM's around, a lot of people use them to learn how to do stunts e.g. wheelies.

Another one would be WR450?

lol engine from a Honda, that aint an ariel

the bloke was having an orgasm

Well their cars have engines from hondas... love the fact they're all hand built in a tiny little factory, sorry, shed... in the middle of nowhere. Best of british and all that ;) (even if they do use japanese engines!)

Oh and that's the Baron(vongrumble), 44teeth is his and whatshisnamefromfastbikes' (alastair fagan?) side project.

I thought he was gonna faint at some point :D

is it the same ariel as the 60's ariel? my dad had an ariel square four so its that im thinking of

it sounded nice though and the style of it was nice

That Ariel is a thing of beauty.

I love the Atom's too, they're about as close to the feeling of a bike that you can get with 4 wheels i think.

I recognised that first roundabout straight away! I didn't realise you were in Canterbury! The ring road has always been hell at rush hour. Nice to see it hasn't changed five years on! Do the busses still scrape through west gate :p ?

Me too! Riding Gate roundabout in Canterbury.. my first g/f brokedown in her Mini there 25 years ago, near enough brought that ring road to a halt.

I had my very first accident on that ring road too whilst learning on my RD125LC in 1989, same thing, front wheel locked up and slid underneath a Triumph Dolomite estate (that hurt). The tarmac around there in the wet may as well be covered in diesel, no grip whatsoever. Lethal!

This'll stir the ocuk 'holier-than-thou' brigade up.. :p;)

Some of the videos in this thread, especially involving roundabouts, has made me reconsider my bike license journey. I had no idea some of us drivers were so absent minded. I'm constantly checking for cyclists as I cycle to work and I know first hand how it feels to be almost knocked off.

Don't give up. Remember, people will only really post videos when something bad or entertaining happens, so your every day ride/commute will be fine.

just be prepared for things like that, esp when its congested and at roundabouts/city centres

aslong as your sensible you'll be fine, plenty long open country roads to have fun on
