Bio Shock 2...

Oh enough with all the lame excuses.

It doesn't what crap they used to try and excuse themselves for not even trying to rebalance the game, they put zero effort into it. End of the day you are a Big Daddy, old model or not. You are still wearing a suit of armour and you are so squishy its laughable. Medkits litter the landscape and you need almost constant medical attention in fights against mini-boss types like the Big Sister. The feel is identical to the first. It would have been very simple to give you more health, more damage reduction and simply reduce the number of medkits or even alter how they work (ie, make healing a gradual process not instant) just to change the feel to combat.

Someone has been playing too much Dragon Age :p

Bioshock 2 was such a disappointment after the first. In it's own right it's good but the fact that it's basically a copy/paste job from the first game with very little added makes it a very poor sequel.

Perhaps, but you can still apply the term to a main character who loses health like he's made of wet paper :p

And yes, copy/paste is about it. Sure they changed a few things like the god awful research system which really screwed the pace of the first game up and gave you some more cash and a better hacking system. But that wasn't enough.

I agree, it doesn't stop me from enjoying the game though, just a bit annoying sometimes when you have to mash the medkit key

I was rather dissapointed with the sequal but I still enjoyed the run through. I probably wont play it again however I played the first game about 3 times in the space of a week along with multiple plays of the demo before release.

The first game really is one of my all time favourites.

Absolutely loved it and played through it twice.

I think it's the level design that does it for me, it has a great atmosphere about it. And you can't beat the spear-thrower for sheer awesomeness

No DLC coming for PC users said 2K games today citing "timing" and "technical issues."

In other words they're thinking "we can't be arsed" and "why the eff did we use this Games for Windows Live ••••?"

I thought it was good, but it could have been better. The story seemed quite weak at times. Also unlike the first one it didn't make me jump as much and didn't make me question going into a dark room -.-
