Bios is wrong?

Okay so ive overclocked my intel i5 to 4.5 nd evan when i right click my computer it says 4.5 but then while ago i changed back to defualt, but then went back to 4.5 but now it only says its at 4.0 :S evan tho in my bios its at 4.5 and when i use speccy it says 4.0 too whys this?

i evan pressed a button on mother board to reset the bios and nothing happens :S

Okay in my bios ive got my computer overclocked to 4.5 but when i run spec-z or speccy its saying im only overclocked at 4 ghz
it used to work fine but now no matter what i change it to it stays at 4
ive got latest bios and ive tried resetting to defualt

Silly question but you're not reading the Windows Rating are you?!

Assuming not, run Prime95, run CPU-Z then let us know the Core Speed. While running Prime95 I'd expect it to be 4500 Mhz if you've overclocked it to this. While we're there check your System event log for any errors.

Any errors in your System event log? What does CPU-Z report your Core Speed to be?

i have that running and CPU-Z says 4 ghz still :S

Nexus 4 + bed = not great Skype situation. Just print screen your issues, upload to a photo sharing site and reexplain the problem.

i have my system over clocked to 4.5 or 4.7 but every programme i use shows its at 4 ghz and when i go into the bios i got it at 47 for 4.7ghz but on there it still 4 ghz like 4004.3 sumin like that :S

Quick update i have a programme on my pc called easytune6 nd i clicked the button number 3 and it reset my pc and put my pc to 4.4 ghz :S so why cant i do it in the bios manually to 4.5 or 4.7

Could EasyTune be the issue here?

Remove it and do it manually if you are confident enough.

well i could manually do it when i add esytune before ?
