loved the first one, so hopefully this will be good.
Over the past few months, I have seen a lot of speculation around whether or not we would have a special edition for BioShock 2, and if we did, what would be inside.
This is the announcement many of you have been waiting for: There will be a BioShock 2 Special Edition.
The Special Edition will come in 13"x13” premium packaging with special art on both the slipcase and the box cover. Inside, you will find three posters featuring vintage ads from Rapture (rolled), a vinyl 180g LP featuring the orchestral score from the original BioShock, a CD containing the BioShock 2 orchestral score, a 164 page 8"x11" hardbound artbook chock full of developer commentary and, of course, a copy of BioShock 2.
This edition will be available on February 9th, 2010 for $99.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3 and $89.99 for Games for Windows LIVE and is limited to a single production run. You'll be able to preorder the Special Edition in most countries worldwide, starting now.

Oh the disappointment, no Big Sister figure to go with my Big Daddy from the first game
Hopefully they'll be different versions of the CE/LE like there has been recently with MW2 & Assassins Creed II

Cant wait for this! Really loved the first one, just hope that it will be just as good 
Im not too keen either on the thought of playing as a big daddy but im sure it will work out in the end. I liked having the plasmids and all that so i hope thats still in the game. I barely use the guns at all when playing!

If you don't want to though, basically you mechanics aren't that difference, you still use weapons and plasmids but you also have a massive drill arm...something I keep thinking has rather disturbing symbolism when you remember the game focus around you looking for and "protecting" little girls.
Oh man this game looks so good, make me want to play the first again so much
Must say though as well as not being sure about the concept of playing a Big Daddy I reckon going through the process of acquiring Adam is going to be a real pain, fair enough on certain occasions have Splicers attack your little sister whilst she's doing the deed but everytime? It's going to become such a choir.....
