Gotta love a game that gives you a gun to kill stuff and then says ooh actually you cant use that to kill this, instead you gotta get an inch away from it and cave the head in.

I think when i play the game i will probably go the opposite route and not kill them, ideally i wouldnt even take on the big daddies either but it looks like it would be preferable to kill them to get the 'adam' from the little sisters.

I suppose if i played the game that safe it would be pretty boring

Apparently not so as its been tweaked so i read while ago.

True but it was also a half assed port over which for some reason didn't support sli\crossfire or (afaik) multi core cpu's.

While the vid looks good it doesn't really tell anything about game settings used, screen res, dx9 or 10, fsaa levels etc.

PC Gamer ran it maxed with a 320MB 8800GTS, 2GB Ram, Athlon X2 5200+, "Hitchlessly smooth".

Well coded games do wonders.

They have optimized it for consoles but in a review the reviewer said it could be awkward at times due to not having enough hotkeys.
