Bioshock: demo overnight

I got to 5% decided I would brave hexic to keep me awake ofc that disconnected me from live so I to sign back in. Checked the d/l and it said 3% It then hung there for ages so I have restarted it, guess I'll watch a film or something.

Bloody hell I'm not waiting for this!

20meg connection and it's done 8% in an hour!

Talk about getting hammerred!

Ah well - play it tomorrow

Same connection here, same results here. :(

man this game is sooooooo atmospheric, seems very smooth,

when you walk through the tunnel  (you'll know what I mean), very nice, lovely graphics, from what I'm seeing here the PC version will need to run very very well too sway me tbh.

So far this is the best game I've played on the 360 even over gow, the graphics are amazing, the sound is amazing, the voice acting is brilliant, even the controls are perfect, first time I've been fully comfortable playing an fps with a pad.

HOLY ******* **** I was playing on the SD TV I mentioned earlier and graphically this was still incredible, it utterly shames MOST of the games I've played on this console. Butter smooth framerate, and dripping in atmosphere. :D

*edit* Even better now I've played through the demo over my vga cable, I want more. :p

Over the last couple of weeks this game has gone from mildly interesting to an absolute certain purchase for me.

Everything I've seen of this recently makes me want to play it. The early reviews, videos and now the demo, it all looks awesome. On the latest 1up Yours podcast Garnett (who has already played through the full game) literally could not praise the game enough, to the point where he actually got the **** taken out of him over how much praise he was giving to the game.

I know nothing about this game, other than the fact that everyone seems to love it. That is the best way I reckon, that way I will be blown away when I play it (I hope)

w00t downloading this now, glad i didnt stay up last night

seems to be going rather fast on my usually poor connection which is a rare occurence

Aren't Microsoft little gems - implementing such features as downloading in a low power state. I'm leaving my 360 on whilst I go to work.

I thought about that, but just know that it'll be at something like 20% when I get home. Despite an 18mb downstream this morning, the download was crawling. I've never had slow download speeds until today. Boo!
