Bioshock reviews

I don't think the length of Bioshock can be used against it, certainly not as far as a single player experience goes.

Off the top of my head:

Gears - 8 to 10 hrs
Graw 2 - 6 to 8 hrs
Vegas - 8 to 10 hrs
Call of Duty 2 - 7 to 9 hrs
The Darkness - 8 to 10 hrs

20 hrs is well above the average for this type of game nowadays.

The presence of multiplayer in those game may be where they make up the difference, but Bioshock really isn't where you should be looking for a MP shooter.

The darkness is about 15 hours, but I agree with you 20 is pretty good. TRL was about 8 with no multiplayer and thats still one of my fav 360 games.

I'm not the sort of person who plays through multiple endings, once i'm through once i'm usually done. (kotor and Jedi academy being the exceptions)

Personally I'm looking forward to having something to play, it seems like an age :D

I'm the same, I'm not one who playes through multiple difficulties usually either, the only game I've been compelled to do that on was gears and thats coz it was co-op.

It really has been an age for me.

Since Gears, I'm pretty sure the only 360 game I've bought is Virtua Tennis 3.
