Bird hitting Evo @ 180 MPH

Am I odd because I only viewed the picture and didnt want to see a bird get killed.

Yet I watch videos of some things happeneing to "people" i dont care about and shrug. I dont mean accidents, I mean like.... that video of some kid in iraq about to fire an RPG and gets gunned down.

Infact dont answer that, im clearly mental.

Been there done that!!! Ok so maybe not so fast but equally scary as it happened to me on a dual carrigeway!

After you said that i looked on youtube as id never seen that video.
It doesnt look like a kid but its weird watching someone die instantly in front of you

He drops the rpg and looks stunned..then headshot takes him down

Makes you wonder about driving a kitcar or similar car with no windscreen though... Back in the 1960s, an F1 driver called Alan Stacey got hit full in the face by a bird whilst doing 180mph at Spa. It killed him instantly, even though he was helmeted up. Not nice!

Yep, IIRC Innes Ireland writes about it in his book "All Arms And Elbows"

Stacey had a metal leg too IIRC.

mates dad got hit in the visor by a bird when he was on his motorbike

somehow he kept control of the bike but his helmet was a right mess , when the visor "broke" it pushed his glasses back intoo his face and left some nasty grooves

very very lucky considering the sorts of bad things that could have happened
