Definately a Sparrowhawk. We had one around here a couple of years back and he was a real psycho. I spend a lot of time gardening in the summer and two or three times in a week this Sparrowhawk would knock some poor bird out of the sky and the victim would crash to the earth very close to me followed by the Sparrowhawk who would glare at me as if to say come near me and i'll have you!! Fearless he was and I am sure he was aiming his victims at me. One day he was chasing a dove while I was minding my own business cutting the lawn only to nearly have my head taken off by a terrified dove being chased by this lunatic Sparrowhawk. Another time I had some doves feeding at the feeding station I had at the time and he dived down out of nowhere and did a instakill on a dove. The speed he hit it at was astounding so no wonder it was dead. He then ripped it apart in front of me. Talk about brutal!!
