at least the boy gets noticed. just imagine some guy in his shorts on a holiday destination with his trainers on in pure heat!

with regards to thread - if you need to ask then you are a 'div' regardless; also one or the other does not make you gay or anything close to gay.

choose one you like reagrdless of what people might think and go with it.

personally i would opt for a medium, a sandal but less bulk than a birkenstock and more solid than a flip flop.

The old faithfulls for me. So many pairs of Converse to chose from.

For the beach - canvas low-tops tbh.

thats a good option actually - although still rather restrictive for my liking. they are fairly reasonably priced as well.

Wearing trainers with shorts is a bad thing is it? :confused:

Almost everyone I know wears trainers with shorts. I don't know many gayers though

I really dislike flip flops, sandals etc on anywhere except a beach. Theres nothing wrong with wearing flip flops on a beach, esp if you are somewhere tropical like Hawaii where theres danger of coneshells, toadfish, urchins etc. You can wear them in the water and protect your feet. IMO you look like a div wearing trainers and socks on a beach.
But Birkenstocks are definitely for girls and gays.
