The single biggest problem with using running to get slim is that most people dont use progression ... Thats my problem with running, its not the running itself but human beings natural propensity to find the path of least resistance.
What? Firstly you've decided the only form of cardio is running. And secondly that people who run don't progress their routine, but people who lift weights do. There are people the world over train to plateu, and either stay in the rut or give up. That's true of ALL exercise disciplines.
THAT GUY DOESNT LOOK LIKE THAT COS HE RUNS ITS COS HE LIFTS WEIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
You aren't even reading my posts are you? At what point have I toted cardio as a wonder cure, nor have I posted re: training whose sole purpose is vanity. I've run out of ways to iterate my point: Lifting weights has many benefits, but so does the mammoth array of cardiovascular (and other forms of) training. It is unfair to dismiss cv work, and equally unfair to declare that the very fit cannot have excellent physiques.
You train purely for vanity, that's great. Good on you, you've achieved some awesome gains and I'm not judging or deriding your choices of training nor your goals. It's just a shame you can't extend others the same courtesy, or make the effort to comprehend the content of posts if you're going to quote them.
