Yep - does seem fairly oddly designed! Not being able to mount 240 at the bottom and also having that PSU in the way of graphics cards (as I said before) - design flaws. I wonder if they got someone in to check out that case before selling it as it is.
 
In terms of cooling for Prodigy M, there are a lot of things to consider depending on your system. In general, a negative pressure case is the most effective way of cooling for a case this size. Because we are putting more larger components into the same volume of space there has to be compromises and more harder to reach area's.

The SDD rack on the SIDE PANEL can be moved over to behind the motherboard tray panel. The HDD bar was implemented to support larger air coolers. HDD's can be mounted on the bottom of the case with the heat shield installed.

If you are using a H100 on the top of the case, flip it to exhaust so that the negative pressure is taking place. Air will naturally come in through the front panel for the GPU. Are you currently using a 160mm PSU?

Rads on the bottom aren't design flaws - They're just not supported. We've tested quite a few 160mm PSU's with various different layouts for the connections and with a 11.5" card (non-reference cards with cooler larger than the PCB), it clears the PSU. I'd recommend installing the PSU first before installing the VGA card.
Our product photos are using Asus 780's Direct CU's with our 160mm Fury PSU.

Yeah its a 160mm PSU but the card hits the modular plugs unfortunately. Probably a new PSU job. Didn't know i could move the ssd rack ill do that :) HDD bar is gone now as iv put the plate back on the bottom and put my HDD's on the bottom. New CPU just arrived too so ill be testing it with the cpu out the machine :P Damnit
 
Stulid can you please confirm 240 rad top and bottom will work?

240mm radiators can only work with a single VGA installed. That can only be mounted on the top of the case. There is not enough space for 240mm's on the bottom.
 
I even felt odd putting the mATX Board in :) It didn't feel the right size haha! After only having full ATX cases and the original prodigy its odd :) Yeh its a lot to squeeze into it

But when you can mod an ITX prodigy for 180mm PSU + 2x240mm rads + a 12" graphics card, does make the Prodigy M leave you thinking "whhaaaattt????"

I would probably try modding the Prodigy M to flip the PSU 90 degrees so that a longer graphics card could fit and cut out a rectangle out of the back plate to feed part of the bottom radiator through ... or perhaps use a 200mm radiator? Will a 200mm rad fit in the bottom?

And 240mm rad not being support at the bottom of the case nearest the CPU, instead putting support at the top of the case and wiping out the PCIe slots there? I'm struggling to think why this was designed like this. With those PCIe slots gone, might as well have gone ITX.

But you are fitting a larger board and its PCI expansions slots into the same space, something has to give?
 
I'm finding the case quite easy to work with, bit of compromise and lateral thinking and it's encouraging to get results. Got the 120mm Fathoms cooler with SR1 radiator to fit after cutting down the tubing and adding 90° fittings. Removed the 5.25 internal bit and can put my hard drive flat above the PSU (with velcro:D) SSD cage at the back and use the top part for cable routing, so far so good. Hopefully will have it all finished at the weekend.:)

I would have made the Prodigy M chassis
  • 15mm deeper so a 240mm rad could fit in the bottom - I think AIO users would have liked this too.
  • Turned the PSU 90 degrees ... the 250mm width of the Prodigy is enough to fit PSUs into no? This would avoid the issue of GPU length.
  • Added something (30mm?) to the height of the case to allow those extra expansion slots to be actually used

Going from ITX to mATX, I would be expecting to sacrifice for a bigger chassis, not usability. That's what I'm trying to say. Otherwise with those top slots being occupied by fans + radiator might as well go ITX.
 
Few problems with ur idea dave would be PSU exhausting rear would be done through one of the side panels then and the right one has your IO cluster on. All the expansion slots are indeed useable (e.g Soundcards will fit) even with 120mm fans in the roof

Shall agree with the 15mm deeper or more like 30mm deeper for AIO Users would be needed as end caps on AIO rads seem bigger :/

Exhaust out through a vent to the bottom of the case?

I'm sure I saw a picture of a 240mm rad + fans in the top that covered the expansion slots on an mATX board.
