BitFenix Ronin - Your Review Sample, Here!

Did it come? Don't think I saw your review :)

It did, I haven't had time to write up a review yet as I've been busy with work.

But I will say I love the Ronin, its a great case to build in. There's room for anything you could ever want to stick in there. The soft touch finish on the front panel really looks and feels great. Theres loads of space behind the mobo tray for hiding cables, I'm using a non-modular OCZ ZS 550w and I can fit everything behind while using the Bitfenix extensions.

Board dependant obviously but I will be able to fit a 45mm rad in the roof and as thick as I like in the front.

there we're a lot of mixed opinions about the panel to hide the psu and harddrives but even the horizontal piece that it clips into can be removed.

Heres a couple of not so great pics of the case I posted

Looks great, im almost 90% decided im getting one along with a H100. Just the other 10% of me telling me I don't need a new case and theres nothing wrong with my H50 :p

You won't regret buying one I can assure you, I'm actually going to buy a second for my server when funds allow.

I forgot to say the front, bottom and psu in takes are all filtered too.

They even thought about the minor details such as black standoffs for the motherboard rather than the brass I'm accustomed to.

I came from an antec 300 which was only £10 cheaper and the ronin is in a different league.

Edit: Review will be early next week as I have some free time and will be rebuilding my pc as I'm swapping powersupplies between my server and main rig.

Got mine yesterday,

Great case so far;) looks fantastic, quality feel to it, i'm a fan of the stealth cover too.
Had no problems fitting my H100 in the top either.

I'll post some pics up later.

I'm a bit mixed about the stealth cover, it's a great idea but given how well the case was designed for cable management I feel no need got for it whatsoever. Even less so when I get an SSD at the end of next month as I'll remove the lower hard drive cage as well.

Oh i agree pal, the cable management is great, even with a terrible Psu like the one i'm using.
But i like it because i don't really want to see the Opitcal drives, HDD/ssd's at all, i like how your focus is put on the hardware that's "normally" designed to look good in a window.

Will be good to see a few pics though Frozennova if you don't mind when your all finished?

I linked to a couple of pics a bit further up.

I know what you mean as far as power supply in using a non - modular Ocz zs and it made it a breeze to get the cabling tidy.

I'll be writing up my review early next week aswell. I don't use an optical drive and will only run a single Ssd and still have enough room behind the motherboard tray for hide it there.

Its just a shame I couldn't show off the case with some more up to date hardware and a full ATX board.

EDIT: will grab a couple more photos later aswell as I've got my new fan controller and braided cables. Just need another 6 pin as the bitfenix bundle is a 6 pin and an 8 pin and my GTX460 is 2x6 pin

Im with you guys on stealth cover.. Mines 100% removed now and the support bars. Ruins such a great window tbh. My cable management is decent so im not worried :) only running 2x 3.5 HDD's and an SSD so no full cages to hide. I wish the case had grommets but im going to be doing my own ghetto mod to sort this problem
