bitspower rotary failure :(

Hmm, got a Bitspower 90 degree triple rotary that i have used in 3 rebuilds, also in my latest build and the one before i am using 4 Alphacool 45 degree single rotaries, 1 Alphacool 90 degree single rotary and 6 EK 45 degree single rotary extentions, i'll have to keep my eyes on these.

small update bitspower is going to replace the barb and added this to there last email to me

(If you can have firm information with exact issue that this was cause by us, we will try our best to help you solve the problem on your hardware).

have lots of pictures also but unfortunately they just look like graphics cards, no blown caps or anything

I'm going to be very interested if they offer to replace or at least part pay for your broken hardware due to the fitting fault. I think any customer would pay the premium for bitspower fittings if they knew if it broke then their hardware would be sorted out too.

rotaries are probably best being positioned and being left alone.

Agreed, although I have had less problems with other rotaries, but that could be because I didn't fiddle as much. Generally I try and avoid them now, especially rotaries on an angle  Just use thick enough walls on the tubing so I don't get kinks :)

it appeared fine before i installed and i rotated it very slightly to avoid a bracket and was working fine for at least a month no pressure on the tubing or barb, then coming upstairs saturday night i found a wee leak and a little puddle of water on my graphics card and system not running

After 3 months of running - I had a continuous BSOD/reboot cycle before I diagnosed it as a leak on an OcUK unbranded 90deg rotaries on one of the graphics cards.

Water had been seeping out and had pooled into the PCIEx16 slot.

I had an 'OMG' moment, before stripping everything, airing it for 2 days and rebuilding every compression fitting with Bitspower replacements.

These things were pretty reluctant to rotate, once installed, I haven't touched them since.

Fingers crossed, no problems for the last 9 months. Another 'OMG' moment would not be welcome :(
