Thought I'd post this up for people to post what they're looking to buy or post great deals they come across.

I notice Argos has started the "Black Friday discount". Thought its only £50 off max on most thing!

Things I'm looking for during the sale:

* 55" 4k TV
* Alexa Firestick (so I can use IPVanish on there)
* Sound system

* 55" 4k TV

I'm in the same boat, been looking for a while but my recent house reno has crippled my tech budget badly. Basically going to be looking out for any decent 49-55" deals and jumping on them. Just need to identify a 4K TV with dolby pass through for Sonos sound bar and reasonably low lag for the gaming but in the 500-700 quid range. I'll post up what I found of interest.

I'm hoping to get either the below tbh. Both cheap as cheaps but that's all I want! Because I'm cheap

Im tempted by the 6800 hisense, also like the look of the Panasonic ex700 but in 50". I am struggling to work out if either support dolby pass through for my sound bar though.

I'm after a 55" for upto £800 and looking to get a Samsung 55MU7000 in the next week or so but they are currently £949 so hoping for a deal. Tempted by the Hisense and can probably get the 65" 6800 with discounts but the Samsung is apparently much better.

After my mate said he picked up a PS4 from John Lewis for £150 I'm on the look out for something similar, preferably a PS4 pro though.

I'm waiting to see what deals there are on the Apple Watch, I nearly bought one yesterday and thought I'd wait and see what deals The Apple Store and John Lewis are doing.

Nevermind, it just worked.

Currently looking at Sony's 4k Blu ray player (X800) due to the rave reviews it gets for sound, and the wide range of formats supported.

the same x800 that does not support dolby vision and will be used as a doorstop in Sony HQ come CES in January ?

caveat emptor!!

I wouldn't get an MU7000. They're quite overpriced this year. Last year, the KS7000 offered quantum dot, this year the 7000 doesn't have it. Bit cheeky

I think the Hisense stuff offers better value for money.

Already bought myself an XB1 S 1TB as it came with a few games for £230. It might be cheaper but the hassle of trying to get hold of one...

Looking for a 49-55 inch TV for the bedroom/living room for 350 ish. Only need it to be 1080P. Local classifieds are well over priced. Bought a second hand F8000 55 inch for 290 a year ago!
