Looking forward to these deals tomorrow, I appreciated the i5 6600K dropping even further in the TWO offers! (Finger crossed for an Asus Z170 pro gamer discount tomorrow!)

I was aiming to get a 390x but I hear the discounts are small and the 390 is dropping much further. If I crossfire two 390 then this would put the price in R9 Fury territory? Typically I hear if you can get a better card for the money rather than crossfire than that is always best.

I assume this idea still holds true in this case and I should either stick with the 390x (lightly discounted) or take the 390 and keep the extra savings?

Would this bundle be suitable for building a new PC for running digital audio workstations and recording music (I'd add a seperate in out box for microphones etc)?
Thinking mainly of how much noise would come from the cooling.
I'd also do a bit of gaming on it.

Well its a hybrid cooling, so pretty quiet, but there will be very minor pump and low fan noise, depends how silent you need things to be.

Performance wise though does not come much better than X99 kit.
 
Seriously good CS OcUk, I can't think of another company who treats its customers so well. If I had a thumbs up icon ....[this is where it would be] :)
