Black Friday Deals

I think it will be interesting tomorrow and over the weekend to see on HUKD how many people got invited to buy cheap TV. I have my invite request for the 55" but im counting it as a lottery as doubt they have that many of them.

How did you go about getting an invite? Am a prime member and would have jumped at this.... was the invite process a lottery too or did I miss an email registering interest type of thing?

So the Adobe offer is only for 20GB which isn't a lot. Could I utilise OneDrive as my cloud storage for my unedited, currently being edited and completed edited files instead?

It was on the page and the options to buy had something along the lines of £149.00 By invite only, you checked a box that said "Request Invite" and then received a confirmation that you had requested an invite and i also got an email stating this:
We received your invite-only deal request for the Amazon Fire TV 55-Inch 4-Series 4K UHD Smart TV.
- As a reminder, quantities are limited and we wont be able to grant all requests.

Getting a new TV was on the cards for me as the dead pixels in one corner of my current tv is annoying me. As mentioned in a previous post, it was my Nanan’s which she must had a fall onto it.

The Sky Glass along with various offers on my Sky account is saving me £22 a month after SK. Getting a 43”, their smallest. Anything bigger looks stupid.

Some people have just obscene sized TVs for their rooms. Plus not a fan of TVs high up on walls. Then my friend has her TV low down on a small wall between the lounge and dining area.

Remember peeps, if it's on Amazon then check historic prices on camelcamelcamel.

Yes. What I use always.
Sometimes I'll take a screen shot of a sale mid year. I've been waiting for the g40 SES vacuum for a while. Black Friday was a shade cheaper so I jumped in

Or just use the Keepa extension and automatically show the price history on the Amazon page.
Be careful with those extensions, they mine data. Probably worth a quick google to see if someone has done the analysis on the one you’re using to understand to what extent they are using your data.

USB 3 to SATA connector?

Err, it's just a Sabrent one. It doesn't max out the SSD .... not even close lol but it's fast enough for what I need it to do. I got the enclosure for £30 and the Samsung SSD for £110.

Black Friday started three weeks ago, in general I feel it’s been the weakest one I’ve experienced

I'm seeing a lot of stuff, since the 15th or so, on the same percentage sales which have cropped up intermittently across the year, and very little on deals which make you go wow - though there are a few.
