That would all depend on budget. But if building a whole rig id decide on GPU as part of the whole package rather than it being the starting point. Ie no real point paring a high end CPU with a low end GPU and vice versa. If you were just upgrading gpu and your budget is £150 then the 590 is great. Hope that make sense. Pay a visit to this section (https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forums/new-to-pc-gaming-upgrade-advice.172/)a post a thread with your whole budget plus things like what monitor you have. Presumably the pc is for gaming so state that too.

I have posted on there a few times and have an idea in my head of what I want now.
I am going to get a ryzen 5 3600 and a Tomohawk max board.
So would this card make a good combination with that two. I will be playing FIFA cod BF 1 and BF5 etc.

edit: Could you guide me to what card should I get that will play games at high settings in 1080p and will play at a decent level in 2560 x 1440 with a ryzen 5 3600, and tomohawk max board, 16 gb 3200 ram and a 480gb NvMe ssd card?
Thanks

For 1440p I'd say something else would be a bit better. Waiting for black Friday and getting a 5700 @ example £249 for example but if your budget doesn't stretch that far then buy the best you can with current budget.

£150 = 590
£200 = 1660 super
£250 = 5700 on black Friday

Or 2nd hand

That theory sound spot on. Blower cards will be £250 after cash back apparently, or get a Red Dragon or Pulse on BF. I'm waiting it out till the bitter end before I take the plunge.

The 1tb corsair force mp510 @£110 is a great choice for m.2 if you have the budget since you only get 1 m.2 slot on the tomahawk maxing it out is a good idea.

Thanks for the reply, yeah my budget could go up to £250 for a GPU,but I could not justify the prices that some of those cards are, they cost more than a console. So is the 5700 classed as mid to high level?

I saw the 5700 mech was £300 on here a short while ago, I will keep a look out for that as BF approaches

Well all the cards above are more powerful than the GPU in a console, plus PC's cost more, because they do a lot more, they don't just offer visually better gaming and more features, but they do a lot more task, but if its just gaming your interested in then of course consoles offer better value for money prospect.

£250 for a 5700 pulse? Really?

They are 350 now, I can't see them being 250.

Ask Gibbo he makes the deals, pretty sure it was discussed in this thread or other.

Pulse won't go any cheaper than it is now on OcUK.

Only £250 5700 shall be an MBA Blower card and that is only after you've claimed the cashback from manufacturer (£65).

All our BF deals on AMD cards are live except for following:
MSI Mech 5700 XT @ £359 on BF
MSI Mech 5700 @ £299 on BF
Asus 5700 XT MBA @ £299 after cashback
Asus 5700 MBA @ £249 after cashback
Asus 5700 XT ROG Strix OC @ £419 after cashback

All others are live, I am attempting to hunt for mother RX 570 deals, but NAVI is life apart from the handful listed above and VEGA is also life.

I have an Xbox one in the room that I am putting the pc in and play on a large screen through a projector.
I was looking at Rx 590's, but I am looking at slightly better ones now, seeing as B/Friday is near

Edit: I can get the Powercolor RX5700 for £270 atm
