There was a distinct style shift around S4 I think, maybe that's when Netflix took it on? I didn't get on as well with the episodes from that point, they were never bad but something was off, the earlier seasons were fantastic however.

Ah my mistake - I do still stand by S3 being rock solid like S1 and 2 though - wonder what changed with S4 onwards I couldn't gel with.

Really happy to see this back, although i agree the 1st seasons were better as they felt more raw, the newer ones are getting too polished, too hollywood.

Yes. Season 1 + 2 are fantastic.

Yup, seasons 1 to 3 have some amazing episodes, you don't have to watch in order either, just cherry pick what sounds interesting if you like.

Fifteen Million Merits was my start point.

How long was it since season 5? Black Mirror was a big reason for me to subscribe to Netflix in the past.

I'm just excited for something a bit different, dark and twisted again. The only other show that takes things to extremes that I watch is The Boys.

It was 2019. Can’t even remember if I watched it all. Definitely watched “Striking Vipers” (the VR one).
