Black wheels

As for black wheels/black wheels with polished lips, it is all about context. Unlike Lexus lights, they can look good.

Exactly. Black wheels will never be the new Lexus lights, because black wheels look good on the right car, Lexus lights look ***** even on a Lexus.
 
White wheels are cool. :cool:

I have noticed a lot of cars with black wheels though lately, their owners are just to lazy to clean them I reckon so chose black wheels. :D
 
I've seen a set of multi spokes that were black with a silver lip on a civic type R, previous shape, it also had blacked out windows.

Looked the dogs :cool:

Prefer wheels that are all black without the polished lip, they can look very sexy on the right car. Black with a polished lip can be nice on th right car (though I prefer gunmetal with a polished lip) so don't see it being the new lexus lights :p As with most alloy colours it really depends on the car as to whether it works or not.
 
Can't say I ever liked black wheels tbh, very few cars suit them.

Anthracite is dark enough tbh ;)

i like(d) black wheels on some cars but not many, never really liked black with polished lip though.

They really dont go with that kind of red i dont think. The wheel doesnt suit black at all in my opinion.

The wheels are horrid, they dont go with the colour, and they dont go with the car. Apart form that they are spot on :p
 
I thought I was noticing a lot more cars with black wheels lately but put it down to me looking for them more. I really hope they aren't the next big thing, my refurbed wheels are currently at the garage having tyres fitted - and they have been resprayed in Ford Ash Black! Still, they are going to look cool, chav or not :)

It seems that a lot of Wheel Manufactures(Especially the cheaper ones) have cottoned on to the black wheel style thats happening at the moment and are pumping them out black from factory.


Lately ive seen a **** load of white wheels aswell.


BTW White Mk1s with Black wheels look Sexy :cool:

i was thinking that, they are ugly alloys regardless of colour and look terrible for the car.


black wheels with red lip on a black car, now that is tempting!
