5070 offering 4070 Ti super performance for £500 and lower power consumption would be a good 1440p 144hz or 4k/60 card imo

Sure. But in 2025 still should be 16GB imo. If it turns out to be 12GB it is just more clever marketing pushing people to want to go for the 5070Ti which will obviously cost a decent chunk more.

Bloody clever that Jensen. At least you have to give him that.

Has that even been confirmed. What a joke if they fo 12GB again.
Wouldn't surprise me. Leaks suggest the 80 and the 70ti have 16gb, so if that's accurate there's no way the 70 will have the same.

As has been said before, they're probably going to try to do a 4080/4070ti again, except not release them both at the same time. That way they can release sensible cards in a year with more of the cores unlocked and more VRAM.

I mean look at the leaked specs on Videocardz. The 5080 and 5070ti are within spitting distance of eachother, whereas the 5090 is practically 2x 5080. The smart money is on the 80 and 90 releasing first, then the 70s months later. Then in a years time the onslaught of Supers and tis to fill that manufactured gap between 5080 and 5090.

The leaks could all be completely wrong though!

All this doom and glooming about the 5000 series prices reminds me of the months before the 3000's came out. Everyone was claiming they would be expensive because of the bonkers (at the time) 2080Ti price.

Then (apart from the 3090 of course) they came out at cracking prices. £650 for the 3080 was a steal. 3070 and 3060Ti were also very well priced.

Crypto screwed it all up of course but the RRP's were good.
