It’s 10am pacific time, which is 6pm GMT (UK).
Ah, my mistake, I was looking at this:I'm confused, this is on NVIDIA's website:
It says 2:30am GMT. Are there two Keynotes?
2:30 am I got work the next day, f it I'm buying a 4060ti.
Thanks for the reply i might be a bit drunk and not totally serious apologies not a good first postIt's just the reveal, not the launch. But yeah a 5080/5090 is a totally different use case card compared to a 4060ti. Save the money if you don't need it.
Corsair HX1000i here with the Corsair 600W cable. Should be fine.
In 2026 by which time you're 12 months out from RTX 6000 Extra Super AI advanced neural rendering DLSS 5 FG2 8k readyBut they basically have though, haven’t they?
Looking at the leaked 5080 specs, you’re basically getting half a 5090 for 85% of the cost of the 5090.
The 5080 feels to me like it should be the 5070ti and nvidia will then pee off all those people who purchased a 5080 at launch by releasing a 5080 ti/super later on with more VRAM and cuda cores.

You're a braver man than me after the cable mod fiasco lol. Those 90° cables look nice. Might have to grab one.
I've been using Corsair's 12VHPWR cable for 2 years with no issues. This looks like the same thing just with a right angle connector. You're a braver man than me after the cable mod fiasco lol.
I've been using the same EVGA Supernova 1000w for eight years now. Extraordinarily solid PSU.I've been using Corsair's 12VHPWR cable for 2 years with no issues. This looks like the same thing just with a right angle connector.
As far as I'm aware, the cablemod things that exploded were their 180° bridge things, probably wouldn't be brave enough to use Corsair's version of that
Besides, didn't the revision to the connector on the newer cards fix all that?

It's within spec, it was only ever the seating of the cable that was the issue. Plus very few people have 2 of those new connectors PSU side.i'm confused...5090 is more power hungry than 4090, and still one power connector...bit dumb don't you agree?
Nvidia revised the actual socket on the cards and made the sense pins smaller so it won't even try to pull any power if the connector isn't fully inserted. As far as I'm aware there's been no cases of that new 12V-2x6 connector melting, and that's what'll be on the new cards.I'm honestly not sure. The revision also got recalled on the cablemod side. I just wouldn't like to give anyone an excuse to deny warranty, or be caught between two companies blaming each other, with these cards being so expensive.
