Who cares about all this dress nonsense, so what if 'chavs' wear trackies and hoodys etc. I own about 20 hoodys, does that make me a 'chav'?

Dunno.
EVH made some comment about not needing to time stretch, El Razur found a machine that does time stretching to make his point but if all your samples are correct you don't need to time stretch.

To be honest I haven't got a clue what the Raz was going on about - again.

He make a claim of how he runs a studio/mix hiphop tracks before and says they are very easy, require no talent (or minimal) and they dont time stretch etc.
The machine i posted is an akai MPC and it is one of the pillars in producing hiphop music (americans mostly and a few Uk producers), I posted the machine to show that time streching is used and not what EVH think.

No not at all, i to wear hoodies. It seemed like a lot of people were saying that chav's are the result of rap/ hiphop music i.e they copy the dress and listen to the music. I just fail to see this because in my area all the chavs listen to hardcore. The way i see it all different types of people listen to rap/ hiphop not just one group of people. So Rap/Hiphop can't be blamed for chav culture and along with it knife crime etc, this is just IMO though.

Hope this makes sense, i was in no way implying that anyone who wears a hoodie trackies etc is a chav as that would be silly.

I just find this thread very irritating, to be honest
If someone listens to a song, watches a video, plays a game and then decides they want to act based on the lyrics or actions in the game/video/music then they wernt right in the first place and need mental help.

On top of that REAL CHAVS listen to Punk, rock, metal, and all those junk they call music. If in doubt, look at the way they dress. **ends controversy**

Pathetic.

The chavs at the bottom of my street listen to dance music.
The chavs you know listen to punk, rock, metal etc.
Other chavs listen to hip-hop.
I think I see a pattern emerging.

I liked his music and style up to the Men in Black album/era but now he's too cheesy for my liking. :p

You are really strange and a complete loser and a disgrace to us Nigerians.
I never once mentioned chavs like hip hop.
Hip hop creates violence like any other modern music from Elvis to Eminem to Lamb Of God.
You really need to get a life.

Strange? nope. Loser? erm no and you dont even know me old man! You Nigerian? Please stop it, you pick it when it suits you and talk trash about it when it dosent. (im used to your swinging views so not one bit suprised) oh on top of that you are a BNP supporter.

Im not even gonna get into any debate with you, clearly you dont like my post and i dont like yours either.
As per hiphop stuff, you dont have a clue period. You should have a coke or go string a guitar and keep quite.

I aint replying to your non-sense anymore.

And thats what a real musician is all about.
Not this 'sample somebody elses work' and then put crap lyrics over the top.

You come on here spouting your nonsense and think you're the reincarnation of Tupac. If your lyrics are anything to go by then you don't stand a chance. Theres no need to attack me because I know what I am - a successful pub musician and if I'm lucky I might have 5 more years left in me.
You on the other hand keep talking the talk and not one person as heard you walk the walk.
Either you put up or you shut up and leave us all alone with your rants.

Dude, Raz...
You've come in here and criticised an MP for himself criticising a music genre for promoting violence. The MP had all the right to say what he did, and you have all the right to defend it. But you're preaching your love of HipHop while making snide remarks at people who don't share your views or musical tastes. That's not the way to get anywhere in an argument...

You forgot to end your point with "nuff said", therefore you automatically lose the debate. ;) :D

?

Hey wassup man?
If you take time to read from the begining, i have been having a debate with people regardless of whether they like hipohop or not. The thing is, you gotta look at the bigger picture here, to safely put, it aint the first time and after a while there is so much one can take especially coming from the same person.

You are right, people are free to voice their opinion, it is a democratic society but since when is the right to be heard, becomes the right to shut down others? Whatever people think, Hiphop is here for a long time.
