BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

I want this game so much. I'm a fairly big fan of Guilty Gear XX #Reload for the PC and was fairly gutted when there was no release date for BlazBlue in Europe (initially, of course!) - especially since I don't have a PS3.

Edit: That said I'd much rather it came out on the PC - I'm too used to using a keyboard! :p

My copy just came today £18 duty fee though :(. Saying that though the game is very good and very fast, if anyone else has it add me on PSN: Flakman

(sorry for double post)

thats an insane mark up i'd question that

Yea I did think it was a massive mark up but i've had it for pretty much a month now and I havn't really been thinking about it so ill let it be. If I get a mark up like that again though when importing ill certainly be questioning it.

I'm kinda late to the scene with this game but I finally got my hands on it!

I played it at the MCM Expo in London and fell in love with it so I ordered it when I got home with the arcade stick.

(I'm at Uni at the moment with only my phone camera :p)

The stick is a rebranded HRAP3, so it's pretty good. The styling of the game is really slick, I'm enjoying it.

Nice stick bud.
I almost bought this a couple of weeks back on PS3 but decided to hold out till early next year for the EU 360 release.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift will be out by the time Calamity Trigger comes out over here, no amount of extras are worth it. And they have confirmed it is the first one we're getting.

Also it just seems to be called "BlazBlue" for the EU release, with Calamity Trigger cut out. I don't really know what they're doing, it seems to be more of a publisher issue than any deliberate reason for not bringing it out here.

My Calamity Trigger one cost nearly 150 in the end after all the fees :S

I did specifically want it from a collectors point of view though, but it was still expensive.

I'm not a huge Street Fighter fan which kinda ruled out the TE because of the art, which is a shame because its one of the best stock sticks and fairly priced :p

The EX-SE looks okay to me :p

Oh.....they making a sequal:) Didnt even know, got to starting playing it. Been sitting on my shelf for months due to lack of time.

Well the sequals are mainly just updated versions, just like what Guilty Gear XX went through. Makes you wonder if you really want to buy the game now, or wait a few years and see if what updated versions there are. Even so, like the many updated incarnations of Guilty Gear XX, I doubt the newer versions will ever get a dedicated PAL release, but luckily the PS3 can play any region version so it is really down to your own choice.

I was just looking at maybe getting this as it is out in the UK next month

Is it worth getting  :D
Just looking for something to break from SF4, was also looking at king of fighters but never really got into the tag/team idea.

I was just reading about continuum shift also but am guessing it'll be ages before we see that in the uk :(

What is it like online? ( SF4 gets a bit laggy :( )
