Blazing angels demo is on MP.

Maybe this game would be better on a bigger screen with my 5.1 system, but on my 14'' tv + stereo I found the game a little underwhelming. I did enjoy the London mission flying through Tower Bridge though. But I'm not sure about the game. It didn't really capture me like Ace Combat did.

Maybe I was a little harsh probably because I was expecting more but im sure it will be fun on Live.

I think Ive been playing too much Forgotten Battles on PC and thus found this a tad shallow but im sure many will enjoy it.

I enjoyed it and it did live upto what i was expecting really. Thought the graphics and effects were v.nice and it played well, more arcadeish but thats what i like and I think the 'Live' part of it will be great.

Defo keeping it on pre-order.

Played it quickly this morning for a bit. I wasn't too impressed given that it's been a while since I played a 'flight sim' (tfx being the last) and my biplane was all over the place for a while. The presentation, eg the menu's were shoddy!

Doubt I'll buy it though.

Played the demo last night, cancelled my pre-order, will probably pick it up on the cheap on MM.

So disappointed with demo, graphics were average, the narration was comical (cor blimey guvnor, av yooo been doin this for yarhs )

Handling was good, thought the follow-cam was a new way for battles, but the whole demo seemed to lack a lot of polish.

Shame, I was looking forward to this one.

Speaking of which, why doesn't someone make an Ace Combat clone for the 360. The Xbox never had one, unless you include the poor Deadly Skies. I think it's one of the PS2's killer apps personally (Ace Combat 4 and 5). Such a game on the 360 would definitely make the console more attractive to me. I want modern fighter jets, not bi-planes and WW2 etc. Imagine Ace Combat but with next-gen graphics...

Played the demo last night and turned it off after 3 or so minutes.. just found the training thing so boring.

I'll give it a proper try later tonight.

Both IGN and Gamespot give it a 7 rating (rounded up... IGN: 6.8, Gamespot 6.9)

Just played this and cant say i thought much of it. I was having the same tearing problems as a lot of you and the graphics were also a little poor. Cant see myself buying this one, especially when ive still to buy FNR3 and Burnout Revenge! :(

dont think i would purchase it based on that there was a lot of slow down and tearing issues in that (particularly when driving fast) and although it was fun i can see it getting pretty repetetive pretty fast.

not one for me :) still burnout is awesome ! as is graw :)

Driving fast.

I'm not impressed by the demo, seems pretty average tbh. I like the way the teamxbox review raves about the "Follow Camera system" where the view locks onto your enemy. I went retro and played Knights of the Sky on my amiga last night and it had the same option!

Indeed, it's nothing new, I've done it on a few flight games. Looks good though.

Played the demo last night, and on the strength of it, I will not be buying this game.

I had terrible tearing issues (at least it looked bad sat 4 foot away from my 37" telly) and I generally wasn't that impressed with the gameplay and controls. I so wanted to shoot the co-pilot with his hillbillt red-beck accent :D

Had a quick couple of hours on Oblivion, I mean, talk about difference in quality...

Well I replayed the demo this morning and once the tutorial level was out of the way, I found it quite enjoyable. Not worth buying but can't go far wrong with renting it for a couple of weeks.
