Blazing angels demo is on MP.

Quite disappointed here too. The controls are rubbish, they're like 'flight for dummies who can't handle the Y axis'. Should have just had a proper yoke and little arrows pointing to enemy aircraft at the edge of the screen.

Didn't get to the London mission, played half of the first mission and couldn't be bothered to carry on. Was really looking forward to this too :(

Played the demo again yesterday.
The training mission was very long winded, and not enjoyable at all.

Finally got around to playing the London missions which I thought were excellent, graphics were very indepth, very fluid, no tearing, and very enjoyable.

After playing this mission, I will defo be buying this, the pre-order is in.
I suppose its not to everyones taste, but flight sim fans will love this, and the multiplayer live should be very good fun.

there is a game like this in production. It was called World Air Force but now its Over G Fighters link

Sounds a bit more sim like than Ace Combat though... maybe the final version will be better. Isn't it made by the same people who made the appalling Lock On for the PC? If so then it doesn't bode well.

On topic, I have read that Blazing Angels has a variable framerate, which fluctuates but is generally around 30fps, is that right? Why don't devs look at Ace Combat 04 on the PS2 which came out in 2001 I believe, which has a solid 60fps framerate which never fluctuates or drops at any point. As did Deadly Skies on the Dreamcast in about 1999 (which is incidentally graphically 99% as good as the Xbox version).
