Wow will always still suck to me. Tried it for a few months then gave up. DX11 wont bring me into it. Free accounts for life will.

I really don't know why WoW don't update the textures and increase the quality, it can still have the same style, the textures getting higher quality and higher res doesn't need to change the colouring or style, not sure why people think thats the case at all.

It is a huge world and would take a heck of a lot of work to do, but frankly so much of the game looks 10 years old that its a bit of a joke at this stage.

Games are about gameplay, but same gameplay and better looking is better than same gameplay and worse looking.

The reason I think it needs a whole update though is, these daft graphical improvements they've done for a couple years have essentially been crap, shadows, crappy shadows that really make very little difference or slightly improved newer area's make the game feel odd and disjointed, update everything or nothing IMHO, a very very half hearted graphics update with one new effect that looks out of place makes it look overall worse rather than better.

they are not going to massively update graphics as it will shorten the amount of people that can play it.

remember, a lot of WOWs customer base are teenage jobless losers who cant afford to buy anything better than a pentium 3.

I totally agree but its true that World of Warcraft doesn't require any demanding hardware so they have a bigger fan base but people should just update their hardware occasionally.

DX11 doesn't change the appearance, it just makes it run faster, even with DX10 cards. More efficient rendering basically.

Jobless losers who specifically go on internet message boards to spew their angst aren't much better off.

i know, not like i was sprouting ******, its the unfortunate truth.

wow's player base is young, most cant afford to upgrade, Blizzard wont risk losing customers by pricing them out of the game.

they need to sort out the player models and the clipping issues with the armour and weapons

I think that its a good idea to make a new game like World Of Warcraft but with next generation graphics.

im having a day off from my hard earned 60k a year job thanks muchly :)

Rolling with the punches I see.

Well I earn 61k a year *puts on shades, flicks cigarette at you*

When you're done making silly generalizations and then proclaiming your 60k a year job like a tremendous self-righteous smug (and at the first criticism of your behaviour I should add - how defensive?), you should probably remember that the average age of PC gamers are 28, and I really doubt most jobless kids can manage the monthly sub.

I really liked the idea of joining your reroll guild but I'll probably pass now.
