Blizzard President President Mike Morhaime has already stated that whatever their next MMO is, it won't outright replace WoW on the market. “We're thinking of it as sort of a next-generation MMO. It's not a sequel to World of Warcraft - we want to do something a bit different,” he said. "We're not trying to replace World of Warcraft. We think that World of Warcraft can continue co-existing with our new MMO and some people might prefer the new one, some people might still prefer to play World of Warcraft."

Sounds futuristic. However the source said 'Titan' may just be the code name so I may be wrong.

Looking forward to hearing more details though.

knowing blizzard i bet it wont come out for another 3 years minimum :(

they will release D3 and the next chapter of SC2 before this

wonder if it will come after theyve got wow up to level 100+, should be 3 more expansions if they each go by 5 levels, and each expansion could take 2 years'ish if you take wotlk for an idea. so 6 years maybe :p

Not too sure on that chart really, according to that they would release the new MMO at the same time as a WoW expansion. Wouldnt have thought they would want to pitch the 2 alongside each other like that.

Titan , as a name, certainly sounds sci-fi like. Though equally it does have fantasy connotations too. As someone mentioned above though I'd stick money on it having some form of social networking aspect, maybe direct linking into facebook or some such.

Saw that product slate a few weeks ago. Sucks to see Diablo 3 end of next year :( And with Blizzard being Blizzard it would probably get delayed for the new year.

Integration of the two projects in some way a la Eve and Dust 51whatevernumber! Heard some discussion on that chart on the lateset episode of the 'legendary' video podcast - which incidently is very good if youre remotely interested in SC2 or warcraft!

So, have Blizzard bought THQ and will this be a Titan Quest MMO?

A WoW movie could be great (even though I have never played WoW, it could make a good movie) but it's not going to - it will be given to that dumbnuts Uwe Boll who can turn a gold subject into poo.

I love this quote...

Proving itself even more worthy of adoration, developer Blizzard has rejected an offer that would have seen reviled director Uwe Boll working on a World of Warcraft film.
"I got in contact with Paul Sams of Blizzard [about a World of Warcraft film] and he said, 'We will not sell the movie rights, not to you...especially not to you,'" Boll informed MTV News
